Dedicated to the transmission of Serge Gainsbourg’s work, Maison Gainsbourg is a cultural institution that offers an experience on two distinct sites on rue de Verneuil in Paris (7th):
- 5 bis: the historic house in which Serge Gainsbourg lived for 22 years, a legendary location that has remained intact since his death in 1991;
- across the street, at number 14: a museum retracing the life and career of the artist, a book & gift shop and Le Gainsbarre, a café during the day and piano bar at night.
In anticipation of your visit, discover below some unpublished archives from our collections and images of the installation of the artworks in the museum.
